Lisa Olivia Munn was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Kimberly Schmid, lived in Vietnam as well, and she has Chinese origin, and her dad, Winston Barrett Munn, comes from a family that has strong roots in the American South. Her parents divorced when she was only two years old. The mother of Olivia raised her along with her stepfather, who is a United States Air Force officer. Olivia was raised in Tokyo in Japan. Although her family had moved from Oklahoma to many other places but it was in Tokyo where she got the majority of her education. It was where she appeared in theatre productions during this period and was a models for the Japanese business. Olivia left to the United States back to Los Angeles, where she pursued her dreams of being an actor. Olivia's acting career took off after a couple of tiny roles. Olivia was cast in the role of Mily in the series with a Hawaii lens Beyond the Break (2005) and the receptionist role for Rob Schneider in Big Stan (2006).
