Pickler who was born Kellie Dawn Pickler in June of 1986, had a difficult childhood. She was just two when she was abandoned by her mother to escape from her abusive husband. Pickler's mother returned in 1995 to her life and took full charge of the child. It didn't go according to planned. When she turned 12, the judge returned Pickler to her grandparents - whom she grew up with. Pickler could not be a parent to her kids in the absence of their parents. In absence of parents, Pickler's schedule was so busy that she could not take classes. She instead began to teach herself how to care for her family members at a younger age.
