Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American actress and writer most famous for her role as Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in the 1960s. She began acting in stage shows during the 1950s beginning with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. In the 1950s, she acted as a stage actor in several Broadway shows before gaining her way into the spotlight with her hit song 'Lil' Abner's performance in the year 1957. The album was released by her too late for Tina the in the same year. Louise made her foray into Hollywood acting as Griselda Walden, a character from God's Small Acre a drama film released 1958.The movie received wide acclaim and Louise received her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. Louise enrolled in Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's student. In 1964, she signed to CBS as a character, Ginger Grant. Louise was a success in Hollywood as well as Broadway in roles that were more serious to counter her image of the glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. However, in recent years she has also become a renowned director on popular TV programs like Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex Ontario, on the 29th August in 1965. The family relocated to Toronto at the age of three. Her childhood was spent in Toronto and through her teenage years. After being chosen in 1997 to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived there since then.
