Ina-Garten
Ina Gardner is the author of many popular American cooking books. Ina also hosts Barefoot Contessa on Food Network. The show has been running since 2002. Ina Garten began her professional career at the White House where she wrote nuclear energy policies and budget reports. In the beginning, she found her work as stimulating intellectually, however she soon lost interest, and opened a speciality store for food known as Barefoot Contessa. After 18 years of making her business a massive success, she decided to sell it and started creating her first novel. Many more cookbooks, and magazines columns that were added. Another hit came from her Food Network Television show. Her range of items spans from kitchen equipment to ingredients and storage containers. Ina she has not attended any cooking school, nor employed in a restaurant, and is completely self-taught. She is a cook who is simple and has her entertaining manner. Her most popular recipes include Skillet-Roasted lemon chicken, Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon, the Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
