Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been a model, actor and animal rights advocate in the United States. The actress has won praise by films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969), and The Getaway, (1972). New York was her home and she was brought up in an artistic environment. She began as a photo assistant, before progressing to acting and modeling. Her first two movies got noticed and earned her an award called the Golden Globe Award of Most Promising newcomer. MacGraw's 1970 feature film Love Story was an international smash, and earned her the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. In just three films MacGraw was named as the top female performer in box office history. Her footprints, handwritten in 1972 and autograph were engraved at Grauman's Chinese Theater. She also appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, as well as other movies. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw has married thrice.
